Ms. Stalling
Welcome Back
My name is Ruth Stalling. I have been a teacher/librarian with CPS for 30 plus years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a Master’s degree in Library Science and Media Communications, and a Master’s degree in education.I am able to meet every student and my hope is that I will encourage them to develop a love for reading. I love my role as the Librarian at Bennett!
My name is Ms. Stalling and I bring you greetings from the Bennett Elementary School Library Media Center. As the Library Media Center Specialist it is my role to make the school library a hub of information that can be accessed for extended learning opportunities, individual, small group and classroom research using both print and virtual resources. I will share and exchange information with teachers and students about their various units of study, approaches to research and guidelines that govern both academic integrity and honesty. In our school library you will find extensive collections of books, various genres, computers, and opportunities to explore reading that touches the hearts and minds of all of our students.
I look forward to meeting all of our students and parents during this academic year!
